Waste reception service is provided from our authorized waste receiving facility from ships docked at our port in accordance with the no. 25682 MARPOL Convention 73/78 of 26.12.2004, titled “Regulations on the collection of waste from ships and waste control regulations”, the no. 27525 “Amended Regulations on the collection of waste from ships and waste control regulations” of March 18, 2010, and within the scope of no. 27249 “Statement of Fees and Principles to be Applied under the Regulation on Waste Receipt from Ships and Waste Control” dated 05.06.2009.

Waste is accepted at our authorized waste receiving facility within the scope of Annex I, Annex IV and Annex V of the MARPOL Contract 73/78.

Bilge water, sludge, waste oil within the scope of MARPOL Annex I 73/78, wastewater within the scope of Annex IV and solid waste (garbage) within the scope of MARPOL Annex V 73/78 are accepted as waste at our waste acceptance facility.

Within the scope of MARPOL 73/78, temporary storage of waste received from ships is carried out with a total liquid waste storage capacity of 177.5 cubic meters and a solid waste storage capacity of 15 cubic metres.

The wastewater generated in the facility is treated at our chemical wastewater treatment facility with a and is discharged into the TİSKİ channel within the scope of SKKY.

Annually, 800 cubic meters of waste is accepted from ships moored at our port.
